Last weekend Newcastle native Brandon Moore qualified for the Irish National MMA Team and will be representing his country at the MMA World Championships in August.
He is obviously thrilled at being selected and is now busy training and trying to raise money to cover the costs of the trip. The World Championships will be taking place in Abu Dhabi and as MMA is not a recognised sport in Ireland, he has to fund the trip himself and this includes event registration, flights, accommodation, team wear etc….. He has also set up a GoFundMe page along with his Clonmel team-mate Kevin Walsh (pictured below) who was also selected for the Irish team.
