After 11 years of dedicated service at Scoil Mhuire, we say a heartfelt farewell to Mr Hyland as he moves on to the next chapter of his teaching career.

Throughout his time with us, Mr Hyland has made an immeasurable impact on both the school and the wider Newcastle community. His commitment to his students, his passion for education and his ability to bring out the best in those around him have left a lasting impression. He has been a source of support and inspiration to countless children, helping them grow in confidence, ability and character.

Beyond the classroom, Mr Hyland has played a key role in school life, fostering a strong sense of community among students, staff and families. His influence can be seen in the many projects, initiatives and memories he leaves behind.

While we are saddened to see him go, we are deeply grateful for the time, energy and dedication he has given to Scoil Mhuire. Newcastle’s loss is Ballygiblin’s gain and we have no doubt that he will continue to make a difference in the lives of his future students.

On behalf of the entire school community, we extend our sincere thanks to Mr Hyland and wish him the very best in his new role.

Go n-éirí an bóthar leat.
