Check the Register to confirm you are Eligible to vote in upcoming Referendum, Local, European, Presidential and General Elections.
It’s easy to do.
1. go to this website.
https://www.checktheregister.ie/en-IE/search
2. Select Tipperary County Council from the dropdown list.
3. Select Your Townland. (Eircode only if you have provided this in the recent past).
4. Select your exact address from the dropdown list
5. House Number (if you have one) then First Name, Surname.
6. Click Submit
7. If your record appears, click on the green “Continue” button
8. Click on the “Blue Circle” with the i in the middle.
9. This gives you a list that “YOU ARE ENTITLED TO VOTE AT THE FOLLOWING ELECTION TYPES”
Tip* If you are having trouble and “Newcastle” is part of your address, just use this in the “Street name or Townland” selection, (Step 3 above). You will then get a list of all the local areas in and around Newcastle.
