Newcastle First Responders were honoured at an awards ceremony in Mallow this evening to celebrate national volunteer week hosted by the National Ambulance Service, the medals were presented to the group in appreciation of the groups assistance to the national ambulance service by responding to calls during the Covid 19 pandemic. This is a huge achievement for the group, representing the group on the night were Sean Byrne, Linda O’Connor, Ciara Lonergan and Paul ‘Dwyer. The group will hold a ceremony whereby all its members will be presented with their medals in the coming weeks.
