28 January 2022 · We were busy getting the compost bins turned and some fresh compost ready for the Horticulture group, they were busy in the garden this week and looks like there is a list ready to go..

After many months of being closed our project work is now back up and running.

Below you will find lots of photos that will show the huge work that has already been done to get this project site back in shape. Special tanks to the lads on the BN&B Scheme for the maintenance work on this site which keeps it looking good.

Some signage is up with more to do and the poly tunnel is looking good too.

The Community Composting site in Newcastle is progressing and below are some photos take 26th June 2020. Lots more work to be done and it will in time. You will see a Bug Motel and this is a great structure. Maybe Google “Bug Motel” and find out exactly what it’s all about.

Newcastle Community Composting Our Poly Tunnel is starting to take shape. Black oats, Peas, Beans, Carrots, Strawberries, Crimson Clover, Kale & Phacelia (Bees love it I’m told) Lots more work to do. #newcastletipperary #newcastlecomposting
